Biography

Tara Milburn is the president, CEO, and owner of Ethical Swag Inc. She has over 25 years in sales, marketing, business development, business partnerships, strategic planning, communications, and customer service. She has worked for a government crown corporation as director of Foreign Direct Investment, and has also been involved in successful business start-ups.

Milburn was part of the management team for Vancouver’s national quest for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games bid. She was an original member for the bid for Vancouver’s successful pursuit of the first National Basketball League's international expansion to Canada. Milburn was also a founding partner of an internet-based company employing over 200 people. Her experience includes director, business development, and director of Customer Care for Orca Bay Sports and Entertainment, owners of the Vancouver Canucks, Vancouver Grizzlies, and General Motors Place (now Rogers Centre).

She is an active volunteer in her community, having served on various boards including the YMCA of Cape Breton and Vice Chair of Celtic Colours International Festival. Milburn has a B.Comm, Marketing (Mount Allison University) and has completed various professional development courses throughout her career in financial management and customer service.
